Rainchains

Rain chains, which have been used in Japan for over 100 years, can add a pleasing water feature to your garden. They are a beautiful, yet functional alternative to our traditional downspouts. Rain chains guide the water down the chain into a basin or rain barrel. You can even make a square out of redwood or cedar and fill it with small pebbles. This creates a peaceful sound as the water flows down the chain. The chains look beautiful when iced over too - forming icicles on the shapes of the rain chain.
