
Herbs have been used since early times for healing, fragrance and flavor. Most herbs are easy to grow and offer a great venue to gardening and a added benefit of flavor to your cooking. Herbs fill the garden and the kitchen with their fragrance and their flowers.
Start a windowsill garden (see our Chef's Helpers) and you can garden all year.
Spruce up your container gardens with culinary herbs. Many of the herbs you can grow, also, make wonderful herbal teas.

Herbs can be air-dried, dried in a microwave or frozen to be used anytime.
