Over 1.2 million trees have been planted around the world through this ground breaking program. To date, funds have been allocated to tree planting projects in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Ethiopa, Peru, Kenya, and Indonesia to name a few. Trees provide food, fodder, fuel, wood and medicine. They also help maintain the water table levels and provide protection from heavy wind and rain which can be very damaging to the environment. It truly is a gift that keeps on giving... Since 1980 Seagull Pewter has been known as a quality pewtersmith. Pewter is one of the most valuable precious metals in common use today. Fine pewter is an aloy of tin. It can be highly polished or buffed to a satin finish. It does not tarnish. As it ages, it takes on a soft even patina which is very pleasing to the eye. Seagull exceeds the standards of 92% tin.
